The charming town (of 2500 people: Turks and Greeks) is nestled behind a scenic fishing harbour - surrounded by picturesque restaurants and taverns - serving delicious local specialities and fresh sea food!

In town there are several food stores , green grocers, bakers, butchers and a weekly farmer's market. Post Office, Bank and pharmacy are located around the town square - where cafes (including internet cafes) are also found.

Sandy beaches with unpolluted turqouise waters occupying four kilometer long coastal strip is only seven kilometers away from the town. Inexpensive public transportation (minibuses and cabs) is frequently available; so no car is needed. Rental bikes and motor bikes are available, however!
